After esophagectomy in which a surgical jejunostomy is performed, there is
a small group of patients whose jejunostomy tube has been removed who
require late postoperative nutritional support. For these patients, a
percutaneous replacement jejunostomy technique is described that is simple
and safe and that allows for enteral alimentation.
