Use of human recombinant erythropoietin to correct severe preoperative anemia

DA Fullerton, DN Campbell and GJ Whitman
Department of Surgery, University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, Denver 80262.

This case report emphasizes the important perioperative role human recombinant erythropoietin may play in the future.
