Recurrent ulceration and colopericardial fistula as late complications of colon interposition
J Isolauri and H Markkula
Recurrent ulceration and colopericardial fistula as late complications of
colon interposition occurred in a 48-year-old man who had undergone left
colon antiperistaltic interposition for esophageal stricture caused by lye
corrosion. To our knowledge, this complication has not been reported
previously. Although its etiological process remains to be elucidated, this
rare entity should be kept in mind after colonic interposition.
